The Pacers have had two picks at 11 in the history of the
franchise. Those picks landed them Roy Hibbert (after trading Jaryd Bayless) and Pacer favorite and NBA Hall
of Famer Reggie Miller. The Pacers will have their third opportunity at 11 at
this years NBA Draft on June 25th, 2015 at the Barclays center in
Brooklyn, NY.
Team President Larry Bird and Head Coach Frank Vogel have
both been on the record talking about their desire to speed up the tempo of
their game. I believe they could focus on a Shooting Guard to supplement SF
Paul George scoring ability. They have also been on the record of saying that
playing Paul George at PF is a thought they are entertaining, so drafting
another Small Forward as a starter or backup can also work. I can also see the
team trying to find a scoring big man on that can play both Center and Power
Forward.

Frank Kaminsky led the Wisconsin Badgers to a Big Ten title and a Big Ten
tournament championship. They also went on to place second to Duke in the NCAA
March madness tournament. Along the way Frank played against some of the best
big men at the college level and always brought his game. Kaminsky can shoot the
three, has great ball handling, passing skills, and moves his feet well for a
big man. Frank must continue to get better at the defensive end and driving to
his left if he wants to be a productive starter in the NBA.
This Pick would work out great for the Indiana Pacers giving
them a much improved scorer at the center position and further spreads the
floor. It also makes sense with Roy Hibbert being shopped around. If I had to
compare him to anyone I would say he looks a lot like Pau Gasol.
